If you want to convert a moped to a scooter, you must adjust the maximum construction speed (or have it adjusted). A moped has a maximum construction speed of 25 km per hour, for a moped this is 45 km per hour.

If the vehicle has been modified, you must have it inspected by the RDW. Soon this will also be possible at the RDW inspection station in Amsterdam.
